I had this working at one point. Look under Tier 2 for the posting about my Shuttle box which has a sample XF86Config-4 file. You definitely need to specifiy the TV standard, the output format, the TwinView flag, ... Commenting out the DRI section may or may not be important, ...

It was never a satisfactory solution, and there some serious limitations when using TwinView and Xv together.

Sorry about the comments. Of cource they where not there when testing twinview. I've edited my post. The only thing I hadn't tried was commenting out DRI in the section "Module". But that doesnn't seem to help either.

Where do I enable it?

By the way perhaps a stupid question but X isn't verry talkative to its log file /var/log/XFree86.0.log. Where can I increase it verbosity level?
