Hi,

I run Cecil's default of 5 gig for root. You can add a bunch of apps if desired and still have almost 2 gig free space. The remaining 295 gig I divide up with some for swap, another 6 gig for ubuntu (just for testing stuff) and the remainder for /myth with the big storage blocks.

If you need to edit a movie use the /myth/tmp area. Remember when you do an upgrade that most anything that isn't in the /home directory will be lost (assuming you did do a BackUp )
