I don't have any H'page PVR cards, so I haven't tested this, but do scantv and xawtv work with them?

Don't know if this helps but I just fixed a problem with my tuner it was too close to the power supply and was getting interference on all channels and one (39) really bad. I moved it away and all is good.
I don't know if that helps since you have two cards and they are both having the same issue.
You could also try unhooking every other device in your house that is connected to cable.

I am pretty much a Linux newb, but have been researching tuner problems (i.e the Samsung thing with Hauppauge) and I spotted the differences below in your report. If I interpret this correctly, the cards use different tuner models.

Aug 23 23:08:56 mythtv kernel: tveeprom: Hauppauge: model = 26032, rev = C199, serial# = 8327406
Aug 23 23:08:56 mythtv kernel: tveeprom: tuner = TCL 2002N 5H (idx = 99, type = 50)

Aug 23 23:09:01 mythtv kernel: tveeprom: Hauppauge: model = 26132, rev = G1B2, serial# = 9545625
Aug 23 23:09:01 mythtv kernel: tveeprom: tuner = TCL M2523_5N_E (idx = 112, type = 50)

What speed CPU, and how much RAM should I have to run two PVR150s...I'm thinking this old PC is a little too old...

I always thought the beauty of the 150's was the low CPU requirements. Based on your sig I don't think its CPU.

Sorry, I realized this was old news but thought someone might find it useful if you weren't still around. So what was the final resolution?

I honestly don't remember...with R5F27 and some other recent versions I didn't have this same problem.
