Can anyone confirm that the 'C' key for switching tuner inputs doesn't work in WatchTv with R5F27? I used to use this with R5D1. I'm trying to figure out if I've got something setup wrong, or if this is normal behavior with this version of Knoppmyth.

The "Y" key is used for switching tuner inputs.

Yep, but I'm trying to switch between inputs on one tuner. I run local networks throught the coax on my PVR150. DirecTv comes in through svideo and the 1/8"" audio jack.

With R5D1 I set up two channel lists, one for local one for direcTv. When I switched between channels that were on different lists, Mythtv would automatically switch between the inputs. I could also do this manually with the 'C' key.

With R5F27 I can't get that input switching to work.

I can confirm I have the same problem.

Additionally, the behavior of the system is different from R5C7.

I have both the coax and composite inputs set up. The coax gets the analog cable channels and the composite gets about 12 pay TV channels off an external box.

Under R5C7 when I was on the second tuner, I could access the entire channel lineup (analog + pay) and enter any channel and switch to it.

Under R5F27 when I am on the pay channels, and I enter a channel number for an analog channel, nothing happens. This means once it goes on the pay system it gets stuck. It also means that when you first access the tuner, it is not going back to the default starting channel.

This is causing me a problem in that I have a young child and if something was recorded on HBO during the night, and he turns on the TV in the morning, assuming Tuner 0 is in use, recording another show, then he gets an eyeful of whatever is on HBO in the early morning. Often not a pleasant situation.

Is there an update or patch to resotre the behavior so that the tuner doesn't get stuck on a given input?

Thanks,

-Jeff

The only thing I know to try so far is to revert to R5F1 and do the steps at this link to add in support for schedules direct:

I wasn't able successfully complete the SVN steps when I tried it, but I may have some wireless networking problems that are causing that.
