When I boot my system off the Knoppmyth CD the bottom couple of lines are not readable because they are "below" the bottom of the screen . Likewise, I can't see the first 4-5 characters of each line, because they are "off screen". I don't have any problems once X is running, but as you can imagine, this creates problems at times. Is there a way to adjust things so this doesn't happen?

Knoppmyth R5F27
Display is a 50" Samsung DLP TV connected via DVI/HDMI
Nvidia 6200 graphics card
CPU: Pentium-D 930

Thanks!

Marc

Yeah, there are boot options to adjust your display mode (like "tv" only more fine grained) but I don't remember what they are off the top of my head. An appropriate search might turn up the relevant postings, or a check of the Knoppix docs. I think it's "vga=XXX" but you'll have to research the possible values of XXX.
