Are there drivers for the xbox 360 HD-DVD drive in linux? I know you can plug it in via usb 2.0 to a pc and it works, but I'd like to use it in a mythtv based HTPC.

Anyone know?

i don't think this has been implemented in any usable way for mythtv yet. however, people have gotten it to work on ubuntu and i'm pretty sure that mplayer can handle the video files. i don't think there's a way to get menus or special features to work (only playing the video files separately).

there's info on how to do it out there. if you try, and get it to work, report back.

Thanks for the link, it's a great place to start. I can always hook it up to my 360, but it doesn't have hdmi, and I needed a good reason to tinker with the htpc anyways :D
