BACKGROUND:-

I have had a mini-itx KM system for a few years now, used as a standalone portable multimedia centre mainly for mp3, avi, jpeg. I did have a DVB-T card to get "Freeview" in the UK via traditional rooftop aerial. My problem, as far as tv is concerned, is that "Freeview" has crap channels and is not HD. Consequently SKY+HD has (unfortunately) dominated my lounge for the last year.... until now:

I've recently acquired a Technomate 6800 HD motorised dish system. This cost me £320 to setup. I get 10,000 channels, mostly crap but importantly:
a) much more live Premiership than Sky+Setanta PLUS live Saturday games,
b) much more "Sky Box Office" equivalent movie channel choice
c) NO SUBSCRIPTION (vs £700+ year for SKY HD)

THE QUESTION:-

How can I effectively use my TM box with my mini-itx system? The TM box does not have a hard drive, it has a usb output which is utilised to record onto a USB pen or external Hard Drive. However, it seems to me that I already have a 120 GB hard drive already sat next to the TM box (in my mythbox).

So, unless anyone has better ideas, my thinking is:
a) a USB cable from my TM box into a USB slot on my VIA EPIA MII motherboard? tv recordings are thus stored on the mythbox.
b) I access the recordings on KM via "Watch Recordings" ? Or MythVideo?
