Hi everyone,

My tmp filled up on me so I deleted some log files in /var/log/mythtv as well as some xvid.xxxx.log.x files from /tmp/

I am now up and running but have a small fraction of my recordings available. I am pretty sure that I have deleted log files before without causing any trouble... did I hit something this time in tmp that is critical? I checked the mythconverg database (nothing was flagged as corrupt) and repaired all MYIs anyway. I am on R5F27.

Any thoughts?

tks!
John

Update:

Ok, not sure how this happened - must have been some errant dragging and dropping in Konquerer:

I have nfs mapped to another machine and apparently copied the /myth partition into itself (the /myth/video/ folder), forcing the system to erase 90% of the recordings to free up space! Oops!

Guess I will restore to a backup unless anyone has ideas about how to fix this otherwise.

tks!
