Has anyone tried to install kolab? I am thinking about it, but I assume I have to install a huge amount of kde libraries. I have the disk space, but dont want to hose knoppmyth.
Any suggestions?

i haven't messed with kolab (the server), but i have KDE installed, including kontact. no conflicts with mythtv.

did you just do apt-get kde and install it that way?

yes... however, if i remember correctly, you then have to change a configuration text file to tell X11 to launch KDE instead of fluxbox. i can't remember what file that is, though. if no one chimes in to tell you, i'll see if i can find it when i get home.
