While trying to troubleshoot my way through a studdering problem, I thought I'd try switching video driver versions.. and got stuck.
Anyway, to make the story short, I found the script wasn't removing the legacy-96xx or 71xx files, so I had to manually remove them. Later thought it should go in the script, so I've added "nvidia-glx-legacy-71xx", "nvidia-glx-legacy-96xx", "nvidia-kernel-legacy-71xx-$KERNEL_VERSION", and "nvidia-kernel-legacy-96xx-$KERNEL_VERSION" to the dpkg lines of the script, and it seems to go fine for me.
Posting here so someone can test and put in the patcher, if that's the appropriate thing.
