I upgraded my myth box to a 3.2GHZ p4 with 1GB of memory and a 7600gs video card. I am running R5.5 with nvidia driver 173.14.09.

If I try to use XvMC as playback either on 1080i or SD, the CPU goes to 99.7% (or so) and hangs the system until I kill mythfrontend.

Everything works fine using playback setting "normal" which does not use XvMC. This motherboard is an Intel (no via) and the video card is AGP.

I want to use XvMC since it really keeps CPU usage down. I am using 67% on 1080i playback. Does anyone have XvMC working with a 7600gs AGP?

Nevermind, I had moved my old xorg.conf and Option "NVAGP" "1" was commented out. Uncommented and did a pkill xinit. XvMC works now.
