I have created some recording groups and I moved a few recordings into them. I enable set the frontend to show both groups and show titles.

The groups are still not showing up in my frontend. Is there something else that I need to do?

Not sure if it helps, but i did a search for
"moving recordings storage group" (find all words)
and it found one match that seemed appropriate.

Thanks, but that thread ( http://knoppmyth.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.p ... rage+group ) was about storage groups, not recording groups. I'd just like to group my recordings in the frontend.

I may have a related problem. I just installed a clean R5.5 backend/frontend. I then started a second frontend machine with the same version. I haven't configured recording groups at all.

The connection is good, and the remote front end can watch live TV. Anything watched live is also avaliable in the recorded shows dialog. However, if I record anything with a timer, the show only shows up on the local frontend.

Even if I set it to record using the remote front end, it records fine, but the resulting show is only visible on the local frontend.

If I watch live TV on the local frontend, it is also visible only on the local frontend.

I'll poke around and post anything I figure out. Similarly, post anything you folks think could help.
