I'm running R4V5 with one PVR 250 (one of the newer tuner type 39 cards) on an Athlon XP 2800 box with 256 MB ram. I'm using the default ivtv driver that's included in R4V5.

Overall, video quality is excellent with one exception: every few minutes while watching recorded TV there is a noticeable glitch in the video - part of the picture breaks up for what seems to be a single frame. The glitches appear to be recorded in the file since they are repeatable and occur at exactly the same point regardless of which frontend is doing the playback.

I'm wondering if this is a known issue with the PVR 250 and whether upgrading the ivtv drivers might help, or is there something else I should be looking at.
