Hi,
In the setup at (3.) what is the name that you have to put in?
Could some one please expand apon this.

It doesn't really matter, just as long as you are consistent. Using "Cable" is quite common. ;-)

All this really is, is a label used to associate a set of program listings with a TV card input.

I think that's the symptom when there's another window waiting for input. Try Alt-tab to see if it pops up...
