When I try to transcode the recordings from my PVR-350 they error out. This is what is in the /var/log/mythbackend.log

2005-04-01 15:58:36.409 Transcoding from /myth/tv/1249_20050331220000_20050331223000.nuv to /myth/tv/1249_20050331220000_20050331223000.nuv.tmp

2005-04-01 15:58:36.717 Unknown video codec:

2005-04-01 15:58:36.723 Transcoding /myth/tv/1249_20050331220000_20050331223000.nuv failed

2005-04-01 15:58:36.810 Deleting /myth/tv/1249_20050331220000_20050331223000.nuv.tmp

Check that your trascoding profile is setup.

When I go to setup -> Tv Settings -> Recording Profiles -> Transcoders I get two transcoders "From RTjpeg/MPEG" and "From MPEG2"

Is that all that needs to be set up or is there more. BTW I did not create those two profiles. I assume there where created upon installation.

Your PVR-350 will record MPEG2 recordings, so setup the "From MPEG2" trascoding profile. Make sure that the codec specified is MPEG4. I wrote that comment because I have a vague memory that I was getting the same error until I went in and changed the trascoding profile.
