Has anybody had their mythtvfrontend hang when unpausing a recording after it has been paused for a while?

This has happened to me twice now. Usally pause/unpause works fine. But sometimes when you unpause it plays for one second and freezes. The on screen display is halfway faded away. Then I can't get out of the frozen playback. I can <alt><x> and a xterm window kind of aprears ontop of the picure but I can't use it. But I can still ssh in and fix it. And use mythweb and everything.

My setup is knoppmyth R5A16. PVR-500 & PVR-350. Using the tvout from the PVR-350. 3ghz celeron, 1GB ram.

All playback is perfectly smoth (video and audio). None of my partitions are more then 66% full (same with i-nodes).

Looking in /car/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log I found a couple of "errors"
Code:
[mpeg2video @ 0xb775c010]invalid mb type in B Frame at 4 8
[mpeg2video @ 0xb775c010]Warning MVs not available
. . .
QSettings: error creating /.qt
QSettings: error creating /.qt
. . .
[mpeg2video @ 0xb775c010]invalid cbp at 37 3
[mpeg2video @ 0xb775c010]Warning MVs not available

That is just the questionable lines I cut out all the normal looking stuff.

Just to let you know I have the same thing happen on occassion. But I'm still running R4V5. Haven't researched the problem and I just end up restarting the frontend. Sorry for no help, but I wanted to let you know someone else sees the same problem.

Thanks for the reply.

Is there a error log for mythfrontend? Or is it just the stuff output to the terminal?
