Has anyone any tips on how to improve the speed of channel change when watching live tv - mine takes about 4 seconds at best. I tried reducing the size of the ringbuffer a bit - but it made no difference (its a 4700 Mb)

any help appreciated.

That sounds about par for the course, based on my experience with a PVR350 - I guess a few seconds of buffering has to occur before playback begins.

Other PVR software I've seen (GBPVR) has a preview mode (no buffering) with instant changes, but then you have few seconds delay when you want to pause/record, you can't rewind/replay etc.
