Ok, I have been searching for a while and can't find an answer..

Is it possible to stream ripped DVD's in mythstream???

well, I think that all depends. some of mine stream fine while others I have no audio. I really havent spent too much time on it. but it can be done

There are probably some settings on the Rip and some tweeking on the vlc commandline that will yield best results.

i think there was some writeup on the mythstreamtv sourceforge forum regarding this
