Just to let you know if you don't get any responses that was rather cryptic. I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, and I sure others won't either.

I think what is being asked is if a small LCD can be added to the case I am assuming to display what is currently playing such as cd track name etc. In my roaming of the web I have seen folks doing this with Linux and am sure it could be done in KnoppMyth but I am a noobie so have no clue how to set up something like that.

Would be kinda cool  maybe a future project

ahhhh I was thinking lcd monitor, and thought well that's a pretty stupid question.

As for the little lcd devices there is a way to use them with mythtv. If you search the forums you will find some info on them, though I haven't seen anything in quite a while. seems like there may be some stuff you have to add to get it working with knoppmyth, not sure though never looked into these. I think they are called VFD's or something like that.

Just hijacking this tread.

Am searching a bit around the net, but wasn't able to find my answer.

I want to add an display to my MythTV box and I was thinking about the KS0108 (128x64 LCD Display). I know it isn't supported by LCDProc, but is it then impossible to use it with Myth? Of are there other options?

Kindly regards.

Eppie.
