I have an ATI TV Wonder VE and I am using the onboard sound on the mobo. I get sound 100% fine, but the problem is that it never quits. If I want to watch a video, I can still hear the sound from the live tv. Is there any way I can fix this?

PS- I just ordered a PVR-350 which will be arriving Monday, so if this is just a problem relating to the card itself or the bttv drivers, let me know and I wont worry about it anymore.

After someplaying with aumix, I found that if I turn down the Line volume, it gets rid of the live tv audio, but not the videos volume. Obviously, that is the key. Is there a way I can configure my system to mute the Line when Live TV exits?

you are supposed to configure the system to mute the linein and make it the capture port. you should notice that your sound is quite a bit off from your video, that's cause you are hearing your live sound not the recorded sound. This was actually a very common problem back when lots of people were still using vtl cards it's covered here on the forums in a couple of places and it's actually covered in the official mythtv documentation.
