I have been using 30.2 for awhile but decided to jump to R5B7 and the video would have a stuttering effect. Video will run faster than normal, then stutter for two seconds and then play fast again. It seems as if it is prebuffering the video, runing through it too fast and then having to prebuffer the video again. This will happen every 10-15 seconds.

I couldn't figure it out and went back to 30.2 and everything worked fine on a fresh install. Now that R5C7 is out, I decided to try it again and to no avail. I changed the default color depth from 24 to 16 and that didn't do anything. DMA and 32 bit I/O are enabled. It does it on Live and on playback, but not on DVDs. I have been searching for anything covering stutter, choppiness, etc and I seem to be the only one with this issue. Here is my hardware:

Pentium 1.7GHz
Gigabyte Intel chipset Mobo (don't know the socket type)
256 MB
Fx5200
PVR-250MCE
Streamzap remote
Seagate 250GB HDD
Audigy 2

I am at a loss as it works perfectly in any older version, but any of release with mythtv .19 seems to not work as easily.

*edit* Also, sound does not work at all on any live/recorded video. But sound does work fine when playing a dvd.
