Has anyone developed an interface to this? I see the cl setup in the wiki but haven't seen anything MythUI based.

Thanks,

Shawn

The closest thing i've found in the past is to setup a key on the remote to run this command:

/usr/bin/mythtvosd --bcastaddr=127.0.0.1 --template=alert alert_text="`/usr/bin/mbmon -c 1 -t -u | sed -e 1d -e 3d`"

(watch wrapping)

that will popup the temp in a little box while watching livetv or recordings

I'd like to push for "osd_cat", while not as stylish, it works on top of anything and not just tv-recordings. It's an easy way to show info that myth doesn't.

Code:
mbmon -c 1 | osd_cat -f -adobe-helvetica-bold-i-normal-*-34-*-*-*-*-*-*-* -c white -s 3 -S black -O 1 -u black

It has a nice progress bar mode also and I use it in a hack to show % diskspace along with other info. Search for osd_cat.
