Hello,

This is probably a very basic question, but where are the saved playlists stored? I have been able to make some very basic playlists using the Myth interface, but not exactly what I am looking for. I have some playlists already created that I would like to copy to the Myth PC. I saw the "musicplaylist" in the mysql database. However, it only contains the name of the playlist, not the complete contents.

Is there a way to import an existing playlist?

Thanks,

Tim

I use the php script here:

http://thebronze.org/m3u2mythmusic/

to take m3u files I create on my windows box and create MythMusic playlists. It works great.

That looks good. However, where would I place this file? I tried putting it directly in the /usr/share/mythtv/mythweb directory (same directory as the mythweb.php file), but when I access it through my browser I get an error message about an unknown module (my myth PC is down right now so I can't get the exact message).

Thanks,

Tim

I would like to get this to work since mythmusics smartlists aren't really smart enough for my taste. For now I will have to export smartlists from jriver mediacenter and then import them into mythtv

http://thebronze.org/m3u2mythmusic/

i get this error

An unknown module was specified

m3u2mythmusic.php

I think it has to do with the digest security rather than .htaccess but i'm still learning so don't know what to do with that information.

Has anyone gotten m3u importing to work in r5c7? thanks

I'd forgotten about this thread. I verified that I put the script in the /usr/share/mythtv/mythweb directory. I am using R5A15, so maybe this doesn't work with R5C7.
