Just installed the new R5D1, fresh install. For some reason when i watch live-TV myth starts to record the channel im on. When i switch channels it starts recording that one. Basically whatever im watching it starts to record in the background automatically. I watched tv on various channels for a period of several hours and when i stumbled into the "recordings" menu I noticed that it had recording 20 mins of the first show then 30 of the next then 5 of the next, basically however long i stayed on a particular channel it recorded it then switched when I did. I have never seen this behaviour before in older versions and its driving me nuts b/c its constantly filling up my recordings space.
To clarify, I do not tell it to record It just records every channel im on by itself.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Matthew

That's the behavior of MythTV 0.19. Before that, there wasn't a way to save "live" recordings at all.
I find that they go away after a little while.

Since version 0.19 of MythTV each TV channel you watch is actually a recording, don't worry it is meant to do this. You can stop these recordings showing up in your recording list by going through the settings in MythTV, as I am not in front a box I am not in a position to tell you exactly where. It is a tick box that will stop them from showing up.

Also don't worry about the space that they take up as they will be expired very quickly and easily.

I beleive that if you dont have any regular recordings listed, it will pop up a view recordings from what group box and "LiveTV" will be listed. Enter will show you the live recordings. However, if you do have regular recordings and the box ticked it will only show the regular recordings.
