Hi all!

Using R5E50 clean install (great release, thanks cecil!!!).

When trying to configure shortcuts for pictures, by using the "Pictures" button on my Hauppauge silver remote (A415), mythtv does not "detect" the button when trying to assign it.
A code is received when running irw, so this is probably a mapping issue.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Thanks,

Stino

Code:
pico /home/mythtv/lircrc

What is the function set to for Picture?

Is the IRW result same as button definition in lircrc ?

If IRW returns keypress of "Picuture" and lircrc has defined as "PiCtUre" that won't work.

What remote did you choose during setup? Last option "dog bone" if so this should be the keymapping.

(Revision 3)

Maybe rerun lirc-reconfig.sh and choose "dog bone"

Thanks for your reply, it was very helpful!

I needed to bind the irw codes from the lircd.conf to a key (I chose F8 for Pictures and F12 for Radio) in the lircrc.
After that the key (F8 and F12) can be assigned to a jumppoint or any other mythtv command by using the frontend configuration or the keybindings screen in mythweb.

Still some problems with R5E50, but I will create a new thread for those ;-)
