Hey guys,

I've been trying to change the MythWeb password for a while, but haven't had any luck. I've searched through the Wiki and some older threads on this topic, and while I found relevant results, none of the fixes appeared to work for me.

It appears as though the Wiki and other threads refer to folders and files than I don't seem to have. For instance, one referred to /etc/apache, whereas I seem to only have files in the /etc/apache2 folder. Another thread referred to modifying lines in the httpd.conf file, whereas I don't seem to have any text inside my httpd.conf file.

Assuming these are changes in the R5E50 release, can anyone help me change the password on my MythWeb account? I set it up when first installing KnoppMyth, but I have now decided I would like a different one.

I've tried running this command (as per some of the other threads)...

htdigest -c /var/www/htdigest MythTV <user_name_here>

...and then running '/etc/init.d/apache2 restart' to cycle the web server, but it still seems to take my old username/password combo on MythWeb.

Is there another service I need to cycle, or am I simply doing this wrong?
