Ok I am having a problem and I am too ivtv stupid to diagnose what is going on. My system has a PVR-150 and HDHomerun as the capture devices. Both will work fine for a while, but after a day or two of uptime, my PVR-150 will stop responding. If I go to watch live TV I can view the channels from the HDHomerun just fine, but it tells me the tuner is in use if I try to switch to a channel on the PVR-150. The tuner is not in use of course. It fixes itself with a reboot. If I restart mythtv-backend it will attempt to tune with the PVR-150 but just shows a black screen for a few seconds then back to the main menu. Backend logs show that the driver has stopped responding:
MPEGRec(/dev/video0) Error: select timeout - ivtv driver has stopped responding
And /var/log/messages shows lots of ivtv DMA errors.

The PVR-150 has it's own interrupt. Previously I had this same problem with R5D1 and fixed it via upgrading the ivtv drivers to 0.7.1 (thanks tjc). I have since upgraded to R5E50 and the problem has returned. I only see 1 version of ivtv available for this kernel, 0.8.2, which I assume is what is installed by default with R5E50 but I don't know how to check. So without a newer version to try upgrading to I have exhausted what I know to try. I have APIC and Plug and Play OS turned on in my BIOS, I could play with those but it didn't help last time. Also I have searched and seen a few similar problems and the suggestion to turn off SMP but that is a deal killer as I need both my cores to playback HD material. Anyone else running into this problem or have some ideas? Thanks a bunch!
