Hi!

My knoppmyth R5E50 has got a curious bug?: Every time I start the PC
(back- and frontend on the same machine), it's not possible watching
TV or recordings cause the backend is not running. I tried the babysit-script but the only way to make the backend run is to press ( ALT + 3 ) at runtime on the keyboard.
Is there a solution for this problem

I wonder if your init scripts have gone away - What does update-rc.d -n mythtv-backend defaults show you? If you get something like "Adding system startup for /etc/init.d/mythtv-backend" then you will want to run it without the -n option, as in update-rc.d mythtv-backend defaults.
