In my basement I have a backend server that serves the house frontends. I have ripped all my music in FLAC format to the music dir on the server and made an account for my Sonos music system to log into the server via samba.

Though I am not a programmer i am preferring to use linux on my laptops. Unfortunately Sonos doesn't have a pc client for Linux (only win and os-x). So I tried to load the sonos web controller http://www.purple.org/sonos/ so I could control the sonos from via web.

Unfortunately I am not skilled enough to make the webcontroller run. It is a perl based "app".

Has anybody gotten perl based apps running on KM or could anybody give me a hint where to look if I wan't to make this perl based web-controller run om my Backend box.
