I just finished a fresh Auto Install of R5F27 on a new disk, and for the most part everything went pretty smooth. I needed to get the updated ir-kbd-i2c.ko.r5f27 from the wiki to fix the remote problem but other than that things went very well.

Many thanks to all the Cecil and all the testers!

The only problem I have is that both PVR tuners only tune channel 1-13

What did I miss to get the PVR cards to tune cable channels? I am sure I have seen this addressed somewhere before but cant seem to find it now.

I never had a problem in my previous builds. (R5C7 and R5D1 w/Cecil's updates to myth .20 so I am wondering what I missed?

System Configuration
KnoppMyth R5F27
ASUS P4P800-E
XFX Geforce FX5200 Version 4.0
3.00 GHz P4
1000mb
500gb HD
HD3000 -External Antenna
HD3000 -External Antenna
PVR350 -Cable input
PVR150 -Cable input
Audio Authority A960 transcoder

Any ideas?
Thanks

Tim

Wrong frequency set. See the BlackScreenWatchingTV troubleshooting page on the wiki where this is covered in more detail.

Yep - I found it!

Under "1. General" (3rd page) make sure you have the right frequency set selected. For North American users connecting via the tuner input.

I had over looked us-bcast instead of us-cable.

Thanks

Tim
