Whenever I reboot (or simply restart X with Ctrl-Alt-Backspace) I get the console with setup asking for an admin password, then it tells me about the zap2it thing, I hit yes, then it goes to the backend setup page, I can just excape out of it, and then myth loads fine...but...wth could be causing that?

It also Pre-scales images every time...is that normal?

Have you removed all of the DataDirect references in mythtv-setup -> Video Sources?

I only have 1 video source, and it's using SchedulesDirect

Hmmm, this warning is only supposed to come up if DataDirect information is found in the DB. What do you see in the videosource table?

I seem to recall there was an issue with a default username/password hanging around in the DB, but I can't find the particulars at this time...

Yep, that's what I was trying to find. You A) have 2 Video Sources defined and B) they both reference "schedulesdirect1" as the userid. You need to clear those out and replace them with your actual SD information in mythtv-setup.

It's the one with the empty or NULL user and password fields that is the issue.
