Ive tried everything to get SPDIF working in R5F1 but have had no luck. The optical led is red but I get no sound output.
So far I tried:
# cat /proc/asound/pcm
and got:
00-01: Intel ICH - MIC ADC : SiS SI7012 - MIC ADC : capture 1
00-00: Intel ICH : SiS SI7012 : playback 1 : capture 1

-ran ran alsaconf
-ran alsamixer to make sure the levels were correct and nothing was muted
In myth in myth set ALSA:spdif

and added
device.alsa_front_device:plug:spdif:0
audio.output.speaker_arrangement:Pass Through
to /home/mythtv/.xine/config

but still nothing.

Any other things I can try? My capture card is a WinTV-PVR250 and my audio is in my Asus motherboard.
