Acctually, it wasn't really funny at all.

In restrospect, now cecil's only going to get ticked that I'm accusing him of being grumpy from lack of sleep.

I'll steer this in a new direction: need a hand with anything? Anything at all?

You could do what I do, rather than providing technical feedback/bug squishing/brains you could toss a few bucks to the developers. I started last release (I think that was my first donation) and will be donating everytime there is a new release (even if the new features and bug fixes don't specific benefit me).

It's not much, but in my opinion it is something small that I can give back, and if enough people do the same it will help to compensate for the long hours put into this all. While we are out at the movies, the beach, and whatever else, Cecil and his crew are sitting in front of PCs working away on what must be overly frustrating issues (sometimes).

Thanks a heap, eagerly awaiting the latest release.

Yep I was just going to post that I have zap2it data thru the 15th currently. So it lives on, giving an extended deadline. Frankly, Cecil and friends will take the needed time to get things just right and not a second more or less. And I wouldn't want it any other way.

I think a bunch of people at Zap2it must be running KM, and don't want to pull the plug until after the release is out. :D :D

Cecil,

Will the ISO be linked off the main Knoppmyth Page? Also is this a new version of Knoppmyth or just the Mythtv new addons for SD etc etc?

Thanks
AJ

The announcement will be handled the way all announcements are handled.

I feel so bad over what was a genuine misunderstanding that I just did as you suggested. Thanks, cecil and team!

My apologies in advance. I don't want to:
- delay the release
- pi$$ any one off
- make anyone's job harder than it already is.
- seem like a demanding ingrate.
but...

Please, Please, Please, When the release finally arrives and it is time for the KM home page to be updated, would the editor kindly remove the "www." from the link to the Forums?

That link seems to be the primary cause of the "Why do I have to log into the forums twice?" and "Why does it always say 'No new posts since last visit'?" The question only resurfaces every now and then, and there are any number of workarounds. This seems an easy way to put the issue to bed.

Thanks!
