Hi,
I have been dreaming of having a Linux dvb-t box for a year now. Never got it to work tho.

First I had a card that linux does not support. But now I got a compatible card.

I have used ubuntu for firewall, but just get errors in console and no picture.

Just find knoppmyth / mysettopbox.tv, and are downloading it now.
Hope I finaly get it to work :)

I guess this is the best product for me, who dont know Linux ?

Hi fipeso,

You may find a stumbling points along the way, however if you run into problems give some hardware details and a good discription of your troubles. I think you will find someone here will help you to be up and running in no time :)

You do want to be behind a firewall/router Linksys, Netgear or simular would be ok. Also read the pamphlet so you can get a good overview.

Enjoy!

I installed it 3 times, but no luck. There is realy no errors, but I just cant find any channels. I tried different PAL settings and europe-east / europe-west, but not sure what is correct.

Before formating XP from disk, I got picture with the cards own software so the card should be ok.

I wonder where I could find the correct settings? I did try to google and seacrch some Finish sites but did not find information I can understand.

Ooh I feel so stupid. Why cant I get this to work

Hi fipeso,

I can't help with the specifics of your areas tuner settings as that would have to come from someone in your general area. Throw out a request, maybe in the general forum and inquire. Worse thing that will happen is no one will answer you :)

In between time, you should be able to get all the other features working as it doesn't need a tuner.
