I originally had R4 installed and it worked great. When R4v2 came out I wiped the old installation out and did a fresh install with R4v2. However, ever since then I've noticed that playback is choppier and both playback and recording take up more CPU. Has anybody else experienced this? The way I see it the problem is most likely one of three things:

1) My settings are different.
2) MythTV .14 does things differently than MythTV .12
3) KnoppMyth R4v2 does things differently than R4.

I've played with my jitter reduction settings are well as extra audio buffering which I used in R4 but that doesn't seem to help in R4v2. I want to know if anybody else has experienced the same thing to see if it might be caused by MythTV itself or KnoppMyth. So does your R4v2 installation take up more CPU time etc than your previous R4 installation?
