| Post subject: | Default mysql database password? |
Using 'mysql -u mythtv -p', I can't get past the password prompt - 'mythtv' does not seem to work. Can somebody tell me what the default mysql mythttv user's dbase password is? I'm really sorry if this is a FAQ somewhere - I've put off asking this question for a month, hoping I'd eventually stumble on the answer, but to no avail. |

Doh! I dont' believe it! I saw that (at least I think it was that) in mysql.txt, and thought, "Damn! It's hashed!". Boy do I feel dumb. Thank you so much! |
