I've been using an Air2PC HDTV card with my system and decided to use my old PVR-350 card to record DISH programs.

After installing the PVR-350 and setting up the card, it had problems, possibly trying to share /dev/video0. My plan is to have channels 1-99 be directed to the Air2PC card and channels 100+to the PVR-350 card via S-video.

In any case, I re-installed R5C7 with just the PVR-350:
--capture card: MPEG-2, /dev/video0, S-Video 0
--video sources: DISH lineup from zap2it
--Input connections: S-video -> DISH

I can watch LiveTv with no problems, however when I try to record a program, nothing gets recorded. Checking the mythbackend log, it complains about not being able to change channels:

Changing from None to WatchingLiveTv
GetCurrentChannelNum(213): Error, failed to find channel '214'
Channel(/dev/video0)::TuneTo(213): Error, failed to find channel
TVRec (1) Error: Failed to set channel to 213. REverting to KState_None
TVRec(1) Change from RecordingOnly to None

Is there a way to setup in Myth to ignore changing channels on 100+, send the IR blast and just record on S-video?

Thanks.

Ok, found out that I needed something in external channel control, don't have script yet, but put in /bin/true and it seems to be recording.

Will place HD card in next, wonder what effect with the selection of NTSC over ASTC in the general section, guess I'll find out...
