I'm using the composite out of the PVR-350 right now, and after tweaking it
with the "G" key controls, I have a pretty good picture; I was just wondering
if anyone else has had to use ivtvctl to fine tune the picture in order to get a really great picture.
Also, I have a FX5200 video card with composite out; would this be any better than the 350 ?
OT, but I actually downloaded and installed SageTV on another hard drive I had laying around; suffice it to say, things didn't go as described on the SageTV web site. Regardless, I did get an intro to Gentoo linux, which I like a lot. But, for the time being, I think I'll stick with Knoppmyth.

I've never used ivtvctl or done any tweaking, and the picture from my pvr-350 looks great. Give the nvidia card's tv-out a try just to see what it looks like (you have a spare HDD with sageTV on it, use that). My I like nvidia's cards but their tv-out is not a primary feature. Quick and simple to use yes but the image quality is "acceptible" at best.
