It appears as though any time I try to record a movie, etc, my recordings automatically break into 30-minute sections. Is there any way to make it so I can have 1 large recording? |

How is the EPG (program data) for these movies? One continuous section or is it split up into 30m sections? And these are movies you've actually recorded, as opposed to movies that are there because you watched them via live tv? |

There is no program data. I have not yet set up my KnoppMyth to download the channel info. When you say "...because they were actually recorded...", what I did was find something I like, then started recording it. It was an on-demand movie, so when it started, I hit record. |

Aaah OK. Then you're really only using less than half of what myth can do for you. Recommend you get the external channel changing thing going on for you as per the other thread, and download some EPG data. Without those two things, Myth has no idea how long you want to record for because it doesn't know what you're watching or how long for. There may be a setting for the 30mins default but really you don't want to do it that way. |
