Hey All,

This only started happening recently, so I'm not sure what to do other than simply reinstall (the ultimate cure for most weird knoppmyth problems).

When I fast forward more than 5x, the screen displays pixelation, then the same three frames while it fast forwards. It does seem to go to the right point, but it USED to show me a few frames from what I was fast forwarding through, rather than the same three random frames.

Any ideas? I was able to set a cron job that runs every 15 to get rid of the clock drift, so hopefully this is the last issue :-(

I'm also sharing in your FF and RW misery. I hope someone finds a solution to this.

As far as clock drift I had this problem on my Nforce2 motherboard and it was resolved by turning of the spread spectrum in the BIOS. Do a search and you should find plenty of info.

Same here, Im also having the same issue with fast forward. But it is generally on Live tv shows that I have watched and then go in to and re watch those shows. If i record the show then watch it its fine. Bit weird.

Changed my decoder settings back from "ffmpeg" to "default" and ff and rew (sticky keys) works fine again.

Looks like it's a trade off. Oh, well.
