I am having a problem creating dvds using mythburn via mythweb. The .m2v and .ac3 file are being created but when it tries to mplex them together I get an error. There is nothing after the mplex error to diagnose anything. Is there a log for mplex or does anyone have any other ideas?

summary of created media files:
.Video (m2v): 66523 Frames 00:36:59.650 './1111_20060817185300.m2v'
Audio 0 (ac3): 69364 Frames 00:36:59.648 0/6/5/5 './1111_20060817185300.ac3'

Does it work ever? I mean, is it only some recordings that fail to burn under Mythburn, or does it not ever work?

Khrusher...Are you saying my mythbox may have homosexual tendencies = ) Otherwise I don't see how it couldn't like them.

Anyway, I have only had R5C7 installed for the past 3 weeks and I have tried probably 7-10 different times of different recordings all coming from my PC HDTV card. I have tried HD content as well as standard digital and it has never worked.

Have you added the 'fixes' that are about for Mythburn? There are several... I grouped several together in this thread by me. (I eded he first post to gather them together) http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10772&highlight=mythburn

I've been using MythBurn in R5C7 for a couple months now and just tried turning on the option to transcode the audio to AC3 and got an error like this. I've tried it on a few different recordings and got the same thing. Fails every time after about 20 minutes with that option on. So I've just turned that option off and it works fine. So maybe someone can troubleshoot that part of the MythBurn scripts for a solution.

I'm not sure what AC3 gets you for SDTV recordings. Maybe someone could explain that to me as I'm not as up on home theater knowledge as I'd like to be. Does it just give you more standard North America DVDs? Or maybe 5.1 sound if you're recording HD signals?
