Post subject:  Live TV quit working. tvchain.MYI mysql error. - SOLVED

After several months of use, Live TV suddenly stopped working. Upon looking at the logs, there seems to be a problem with one of the mysql tables.

From mythbackend.log:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(errno: 145)
I know this might not be specifcally a mythtv issue, but can anybody help my diagnose this problem?
I already checked the file and it exists, but thats all I know.
Everything else functions normally except LiveTV.
- Check your disk space. There's a logfile rotattion glitch in R5C7. The usual culprit is "/var/log/mysql/mysql.log".
- Follow Cecil's DB repair sticky posting here: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1043
wow, mysql.log was 1.6 gigs....still though I was only at 86% capacity for that drive. I am going to look at the post you mentioned now...
That did it! Following Cecil's thread on how to repair the table did the trick.
Was the large logfile the root cause here? It was large but the drive was not full. However, I guess it could have been at some time, before I deleted some recordings.
Thank you for your help!
