Does anyone know of a listing of MythTV commands?

As a self teaching excercise I am trying to get R5C7 on an old Pentium 2. Installation is complete but now I am trying to get my Winfast XP2000 Expert tuner working. Reading the forums I understand this is not easy.

What would be useful for a noob like me is a list of MythTV commands with a description of their actions and any short-cuts assiciated. Commands like mythtv-backend start, mythbackend, mythtv-setup, etc.
I have been making my own list mainly from suggestions posted in this forum and wiki and the MythTV wiki, but it's hard to search for a command when you don't know its name.

The big problem will be that this is such an open ended project. I'd suggest starting a wiki page. You might want to do something like the Linux Tips page - http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=LinuxTips

For example your "mythtv-backend start" example is actually a special case of a general pattern. The "init" scripts in the /etc/init.d/ directory all take at least "start" and "stop" as possible arguments. Many also take "restart", "status", "reload", among others. Also note that much of this information is covered in the manual pages or the --help option built into many commands.

BTW - Going to the directory to execute a command is a very newbie thing to do. It would be far more common for an experienced user to run that example as "/etc/init.d/mythtv-backend start".
