I've got my DCT6200 connected to my firewire card, but when I run plugreport, I get the following message: Code: root@mythtv:/# plugreport
raw1394 - couldn't get handle: No such device or address This error usually means that the raw1394 driver is not loaded or that /dev/raw1394 does not exist. Are there any drivers that I need to load or should plugreport run right out of the box? |

I got the same thing. Try changing the setup for the firewire recorder from Point-To-Point to Broadcast. |

But isn't running plugreport a direct query to the firewire card? Would Myth settings even have anything to do with that? |

Never saw your reply. Sorry about that. You are right about the plugreport not having anything to do with the Myth settings. Check your modules to see if the ieee1394 ones are loaded. Code: root@mythtv:~# lsmod | grep 1394
