I am currently downloading the KnoppMyth install image.

I see the one-stop-shopping install as a HUGE plus. What are the downsides to knoppmyth...what am I sacrificing for the ease of install?

Im getting wood thinking about starting this project.

If you have good hardware the only thing you'll be missing is the hair pulling manual install, and even that is a lot smoother thanks to Jarod Wilsons step by step guide for RedHat.

However, I originally got Myth working manually back on .8 release and the very early IVTV drivers for the PVR 250 card. I only recently became a convert to KnoppMyth.

I've brought up too KnoppMyth systems in less than an hour each in the last few days. I can't sing its praises more highly. You'll be amazed.

Excellent work and hats off to the entire KnoppMyth team.
