I've been using the Burn DVD (CD/DVD --> Burn DVD) application in 5D1 to create DVDs using DVD-RWs, it does seem to work very well, (apart from the occasions where the log app seems to fall over taking the front end with it, but the Burn DVD app continues OK!).
The problem appears with the menus when playing back the DVD on other players. The programmes themselves appear to playback OK, it just seems to be a problem with the menu.
The only way I could describe it that the menu is slow to respond to cursor key and OK/Enter key presses on a remote, sometimes it seems to work OK, but if you leave it for a while, you have to press the "Top Menu" key to force it to re-read the menu, then it responds.
It appears to be something with the menu highlight loop, when playing back on a PS2 the menu highlight disappears for the period when it refuses to respond. Playing back using Xine on the 5D1 PC shows similar symptoms but not quite as bad. On a Sony DVD Player it worked well but on a Toshiba DVD Recorder (DVD-R&DVD-RW), that's where it seemed to be the worst.

Animated menus: No
Chapter Menus: Yes & No

Has anyone else had this problem and suggest any workarounds?
