For some reason tv_grab_no has stopped working for me. I see in the /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log that something must have changed on 2006-10-09 02:01:48.254 Running mythfilldatabase as I have a listing like no listings for channel 16.fredag.dagbladet.no on day 0, http://www.dagbladet.no/mobil/tv/liste. ... al_id=16&d ag=1&fra_tid=0&til_tid=24 removing bad characters: '\x94' at /usr/bin/tv_grab_no line 334. no listings for channel 40.fredag.dagbladet.no on day 0, http://www.dagbladet.no/mobil/tv/liste. ... al_id=40&d Then on 2006-10-10 02:02:48.145 Running mythfilldatabase could not fetch http://www.dagbladet.no/tv/mobil/index.html, aborting Error in 4:188: unexpected end of file could not fetch http://www.dagbladet.no/tv/mobil/index.html, aborting Error in 4:188: unexpected end of file The same will happen if I run tv_grab_no on the command line. I am wondering what is causing this? is it some change at www.dagbladet.no? Does any one know how to fix this. Birgir: |

Hmm, which version of tv_grab_no are you running? are you running KnoppMyth R5 D1? FWIW, I'm running that version, and tv_grab_no works fine here. Hei, I am using XMLTV::Version '$Id: tv_grab_no,v 1.17 2004/12/22 08:27:12 christianw Exp $ '; On the CD I burned I wrote R5C7. Every thing has been running fine until 9th of Oct since my installation 2nd of June 2006. Birgir. |

I'm struggeling with installation of R5C7 and after a many reinstalls I have gotten used to doing a small modification to the tv_grab_no source during install. Upgrading to a newer tv_grab_no would be best I guess but a simple fix is to edit the URL: 1. Search for the get_channels() function 2. Change the URL from tv/mobil to mobil/tv (from the top of my head, may be the opposite). Should work. |
