HELP! mythconverg Database Lost / Replaced

Post subject:  HELP! mythconverg Database Lost / Replaced
Hello,

It looks like my box restored itself to an old copy of the database.
("itself" could have been an accidental selection by the girlfriend - I'm out of town - who's idea was it to put this in the menu?)

The database seems to be my pre R5D1 upgrade backup.

Does the box have some auto-restore feature?

Is the original pre-restored mythconverg somewhere?

AND - All of the nuv files are still on the box. Is there some way to get the database to recognize them?

Box isn't really useful without a recent database... lol

Well there is a script to reimport the files into the DB. Search the forums for myth.rebuilddatabase.pl for details on how to use it. Supposed to work pretty good on real NUV files, less well on MPG files (which don't include all the meta data need to fully restore the lost DB entries).
