| Post subject: | Listen to Music, Music Tools and Stream XM just quit working |
For some reason these features quit working, no updates nor installs made in the meantime. When selecting Listen to Music in Media Library there is seemingly no response. Likewise when selecting a station in the Stream XM and Music Tools in setup. I've checked the logs in var/log but didn't find anything that stands out. The only thing I can think of is that I added some recordings to the playlist and then deleted them before removing them from the playlist. These weren't music recordings but rather tv shows. It's likely I'm not looking in the correct log to determine the problem. Any help would be appreciated. thanks |

If this is my stream xm program you could try going out of the front end and open a term window and run /myth/xmonline.sh [channum] and see what the output is. I have had a couple times my sound stop working on all programs when the xm program shutsdown incorrectly but a reboot has fixed that. Other than that i am not too sure with the details specified. |

Stream XM is a great enhancement!! thank you. XM worked from the xterm and I have rebooted several times but basically all music interfaces are dead in the front end. I also decided to backup and reinstall but the backups all fail. |
