Post subject: | PIP seg faults in R5D1 with 0.20 |
I upgraded R5D1 to 0.20 without issue, thank for the info! I have a pcHDTV 3000 and a PVR 500. PIP works ok when I enable it while watching HDTV (no XVMC). The aspect ratios are fouled with up SD to thin, HD too wide!! When I try to PIP 2 SD pictures I get a seg fault. The bad file is actually 0 size. All tuners work fine individually. PS, getting to the main menu takes forever too... Code: 2006-10-25 23:03:46.163 Using runtime prefix = /usr

Post subject: | Second tuner may not be fine... PVR-500 with Samsung patch |
Anyone else having Seg Fault troubles for mythfrontend using a PVR 500 card and 0.20? The second card apparently causes a seg fault even when not in PIP. I had PIP on, then off, then went to the second SD tuner and it seg faulted... I have not heard anyone else complain about PIP aspect ratios either. I wonder if I have fouled a config somewhere. The myth-user list people suggest I compile a recent 0.20 snapshot, but that scares me. A lot. Patching the kernel was scary for me, and that was a nice script (Thanks Cecil). |
